Thanks for that.
The good news is that a parcel is on the way to me and I'll be at home tomorrow.
The bad news is that so is some more snow tonight (which no doubt will hold up DHL deliveries) and I'll be out all day Monday and Tuesday!

Is there anywhere they can leave it in your absence? I sent them a message via the online tracking site asking them to leave it at the back of the house if I wasn't at home, the status briefly changed to 'security check' and the next day my parcels were there.

I ordered nearly 3 weeks ago and I still havent received my order.I know they are really busy,I received an email today and over half my order is out of stock,its such a shame because the prices are fab,I dont think I will order again.

Our packers are now working on orders placed on January 21.
We continue to refund customers for items out of stock and to refund postage by way of compensation.

Frosty, why on earth didn't you just phone up as soon as you got the email and talked with them about substitutions?
Many of us have said this on the other thread (and possibly this one) including Dan. I just can't for the life of me understand why you are saying now that you aren't going to use them again when you had the option of phoning and getting what you were happy with???

I phoned last week and ended up with a bigger order than I'd ordered in the first place ...

:j Not only did I finally get my order from three weeks ago, but the one I placed on Monday came at the same time! So one took 3 weeks and the other 3 days There were quite a few items out of stock, which I did expect. I wasn't 100% happy with the substitutions for pork cracklings and lloyd grossman sauce, as it was tikka masala that I had ordered it would have made more sense to substitute extra korma rather than tomato and chilli, but it's no biggie! Also the pork cracklings are tiny bags rather than the much bigger ones ordered, but given my addiction to crackling it is maybe a good thing they are only small bags hehehe. I ordered 20 minute bars and only got 19...hmm maybe the packer got the nibbles lol I have to say all in all I am delighted, everything was very well packed, nothing damaged or squashed! Thank you very much Dan and the team at Approved Foods! :T I look forward to many more parcels in the future.

It says on the forst page of AF that they are packing orders from the 21st!!!! Yay thats me!! I too got the email telling me some items were now out of stock, I went to the site to see what I might replace with but the things I wanted still seem to be there, well not all of them. I think I will take the refund now and then wait to order again when they are a bit less busy. I am still looking forward to the items I am still getting so thanks Dan. Now I just have to wait for it to be dispatched!
