Funnily enough I've changed careers since this thread first did the rounds and am now employed as a freelance Pensions Negotiator representing disgraced ex-Bankers.

Have had a busy first month to be honest.

I write videogames for a large Japanese corporation here in the UK.

It's meant to be a stable industry in times like these, as people apparently still spend on games, due to a night in being cheaper than going out, but I've been through 2 redundancies in this industry (the whole studio closing unannounced due to parent company bankruptcy or bean counters reshuffling) so you never know..

i am a junior government minister. My main job is to find convenient scapegoats to take the heat of my (and your) masters. In my spare time I make up jobs for the rest of my family, my best initiative so far being paying my wife to ensure we are claiming every last penny from the state.

Once this is over I am looking forward to my pension.
