Well in my HHC I managed to put away all of the dry stuff on the draining rack, wash up half the pile of stuff on the worktop, and dry it up and put it all away. Think it'll take another half hour to get the rest done. I also have 2 baskets of clean clothes to put away before I can start on the proper lists. I'm starting again at 2.30 if anyone wants to join me?

  • In HHC 3 I wiped stuff and put them back in the fridge. Thrown out was an over ripe tomato, a jar of mouldy strawberry jam, about 100g of mouldy cheese, quarter white cabbage and a packet of aunt Bessie ginger bread dough that said use by sep 10 8225 (don’t know what that means or why I bought it but it must have been there from the summer). To use up soon is cauliflower and an over ripe, but still usable, tomato.
The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.

Right, I really need to get dressed! And do some flying...

Have done lots of work and have run out of steam now..haven't stopped since 8am so going to have a shower and get dressed. Tempted to get out of the flat for a while but DH says the ice is really bad and I can't persuade him to come with me (he went to the gym but they were shutting)

And yes, lil_me, having lived in the north and now the south I know that there's a lot more fuss down here. saying that i guess in london a lot of people rely on public transport which has been a nightmare!
