Well dauphinois are in the oven now - should take about an hour so that the potatoes are nicely cooked. Have also parceled up veggie sausage rolls and put them in the fridge and taken a load of washing out of the TD. Stoopid OH left a tissue in his dressing gown pocket so it's all matted into it - that'll teach him to check his pockets. Luckily the load affected is mainly his stuff and it doesn't seem to have spread too much. TD should get some of it out. Off to fry the veggie chicken pieces now and then I'll do some washing up of the cooking stuff.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

    Hello all

Nice lunch out with in laws and their friends for MiL bday, she liked her present (murder mystery dinner party game). Ate far too much, couple of glasses of wine so was zonked this aft. We blobbed in front of Dr No and am now planning to go and make tomorrow's lunches and make the bed up. Also need to pack my work bag and charge my work phone, don't think we're in for snow...will report back later with my list update

    greenbee - ouch!!!

Kids now bathed and in bed, school uniform in the machine so gonna have a cuppa and get on. May make hubby help.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Glad the chilli incident amused you

Valli - try reflexology... seriously. Since moving to a mainly vegetarian diet and having regular reflexology AF has been MUCH better behaved! It's taken time, but definitely been worth it. Oh yes... and plenty of exercise also helps

rach - You may get snow tomorrow afternoon from the looks of the satellite predictions. I'm not taking anything for granted at the moment, as on Friday everything was telling me it was raining outside... but when I looked out of the window it was snowing.
