i hope he did something else apart from study.... these days good qualifications aren't enough if you can't show evidence of practical use of the skills employers want.....
it's impressive, but also unnecessary.... i'd certainly encourage someone to get a different hobby than revising!:happyhear0 -

I still haven't actually read the article but as a few of you pointed out the chances of him having done anything else with his life except study are pretty slim. He needs to go out and play some sport or do some charity work or his UCAS statement will be pretty empty.The size of a glory hole in an open pit should not be greater than the cross-section of the haul trucks that dump into it. See he should have focused on a few A levels (got that A) and done some work experience to support his application, perhaps an OU short course or 2 in the holidays lol.
When I applied for medicine the question at interview that annoyed me most was 'why not nursing?' I thought it a little patronising for nurses for whom I have the greatest of respect (I worked as a carer) and completely missed the point, if I wanted to be a nurse I would apply, I wanted to be a doctor so I did applied to medicine instead.Debt £5600 all 0%0 -
