Just like same branch supermarkets not all poundland shops stock the same stuff which is a bit of a pain when people list what they can get in their branch.0

Ooh, I got some nice things in Poundland yesterday!
I got some stacking strawberry/herb thingies, strawberries, fertiliser and some flower bulbs.
They're all in use now in the garden/greenhouse
Anyone used these strawberries before? they are just dried up little things, I'm not sure they'll ever make fruit!!!

I got some lovely hanging basket brackets on Monday. They're 'heavy duty'. Got three, I'll have to change one though as it's a bit squint!
They didn't have a lots of plants in, (I've never seen strawberries or raspberries in this branch) but I did get a purple climbing rose. I also have a buddleia that I got there about a month ago. Both look really healthy with new growth. Mummy to an amazing little girl0 -

I was in Poundland this morning (again!
), and they have some lovely perennials in. Got a blue lupin and an eringium (that's how they spell it, not sure it's correct!). Both are lovely, healthy looking plants. I'm really pleased with them.

So far from poundland -
St Johns Wort, 2 climbing roses, a patio rose, mock orange, little wooden picket fence pieces, gladioli, iris and anemone in a big pack together.
I can't believe how much they have in mine, loads of interesting shrubs and roses, going to get a few more I think, it's fab!!Ahhhh.... lemony fresh victory is mineee!!!0 -
Found in Poundland Portobello Road/Ladbroke Grove yesterday:-
Neutrogena PureGlow Daily Cleansing Cushions - dry/sensitive skin
Olay Body Quench Mousse
Colgate Sensitive Toothpaste
I also saw some Cuticura (I think) cleansing wipes - like the Simple ones - in a purple package but it was last one there and I think it had been opened so I didn't buy.
Lots of name brand (Johnsons?) self tanner and branded household cleansers/bleach type stuff but very little books which were what I was after.0 -

If I'm going to brave the horrors of central Croydon (especially as it'll be with my mum  ), I want to know exactly where I'm going, so I can plan attack and most importantly, a rapid escape by 10.30am, when the main population starts rolling out of bed!
I know exactly what you say about Croydon being HELL on a Saturday. If you're ever there on a Sunday it tends to be quieter.
This Poundland always seems to be very well stocked.
For info - there's another Pound Shop - I think maybe a '99p' one - if you go past HMV - which is outside and just past M&S. They don't take cards though or didn't so cash only. That also has quite good stock but isn't as big a shop as Poundland Croydon.0 -
i just saw a 20 pack of meter long bamboo canes from my local 99p shop0
