  • We went for 1 week to Los Christionos June 2007.
We just didn't click with it for a mixture of reasons: all the pavements were up and lots of work was going on to replace them. The beach was fenced off and the smell of sewerage lingered around the prom. We hated being pestered to enter restaurnats or having menues read to us. We didn't like being pestered when we were eating. We didn't find any bar or restaurant that we would want to return to.

Having said that we know lots of people that love it and return time after time.

Hello Brujo, Like many, Oh and I come to Tenerife to relax in the sun and soak up the rays. We have booked SC in Los Cristianos for May. We like to sit around the pool and chat to other guests. Have walks and go on a few coach trips. Like others have said.... we do not like being pestered by lucky lucky men, time share or waiters on the street. I also think folk are now choosing to holiday in none euro countries because of the exchange rate.

Brujo, may I also ask a question? I would like to know if you think it is worth trying to get a "green banana discount card"? Do the local shops sell them or should I buy one from their site on the web before we leave the UK. From what I have seen, a lot of the 10% discount is for restaurants.

    Best wishes Julie.
If winter comes, can spring be far behind?
