How about a visit to the Greatest show on Earth i think thats how it may be published but it is by far the largest show in Canada the Calgary Stampede first week of July basicaally a Rodeo but with more lots more it takes oer the whole city well worth a visit prior to going on to Banff Lake Louise and the rest of the mountain areas heading towards Vancouver, its a great place to visit you will have a fab time:hello: Lets all save a £ or two, lets all earn a £ or two, and lets all enjoy spending that £ or two wisely.

We are going to Western Canada ourselves at the end of April and our itinerary is as follows if that helps you with ideas.
Fly to Calgary - stop 3 nights
Calgary to Banff - stop 3 nights
Banff to Jasper via Lake Louise - stop 2 nights
Jasper to Vancouver on Rocky Mountaineer - stop 1 night
Vancouver to Victoria - stop 3 nights
Victoria to Vancouver to join cruise
Cruise to Alaska stopping in Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway - 7 nights
Return to Vancouver - stop 3 nights then home.
My brother did a similar trip a couple of years ago but he started in Toronto and visited Niagara Falls before flying to Calgary.

Don't miss Whistler - fantastic place, really wonderfully set up for tourists, and can do loads there alot cheaper than in the Rockies - canoeing, quad biking up the moountains, go see black bears, etc...
The Rockies are further in an overnight stop in Kamloops is the usual way to get there, breathtaking once there - sometimes quite literally if your lungs aren't liking being at 7000ft!Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

ps toronto / niagara falls are nice too, but I'd go back to Western Canada first, if someone was offering me free tickets....Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

One of the places that I would like to suggest would be Montreal. The city is a modern one in every regard. It has a bustling labyrinth of shops, restaurants, movie theaters, and offices. It has a historical touch and there is Place des Arts which is the concert/theater venue for all the visiting big name artists and shows. There are botanical gardens and museums too. For accommodation needs, I think a better option would be to rent out a Montreal furnished apartment rental as that would be economical and would make a comfortable stay for your group in Montreal.0
