Brilliant result from 02!
I know most of you (if not all) will know to haggle deals but I must tell someone (and hubby isn't here) its just worked a treat for me! 
I called 02 retentions team as my contract expires on 5th March. I asked what deals they would do me to stay on a contract as I was thinking of moving to PAYG. I was offered the basic online tariff of 75 anytime xnet minutes and 300 texts for £19 per month for 18 months. I said I wanted to lower my monthly cost by more than £1 as I currently pay £20 but he wouldn't budge on price at all. If I didn't want to change my handset I could have £100 credit. I looked on web and found a much better deal with the CPW. I called back 02 and told them this and was immediately offered 200 anytime xnet minutes and 500 texts for £15 for 12 months and I don't want to change handset so took the £100 credit too. I won't use all the minutes and texts but nice to have them there in case I do need them. My main priority was cutting cost which Iv'e done. Also I was only getting off-peak minutes so anytime xnet is a big bonus for me too.
I'm really pleased with this!!
