Hi all again!

Well, latest developments is after sending a bank draft to J-direct for my tiffany, I have just contacted my bank to have it cancelled. I was not totally happy about some of what I read about them, including the fact that they may have paid the diamond guy to write that flashing review! Many other things don’t make sense. I would have lost £25 but that’s better than all my money, including the customs fees if I had received it.

I am now waiting patiently for my Asha from BTD. The reviews on their forum as well as MrsH’s testimony (thanks!) and their excellent customer service so far swung me. I have contacted them to revise my order several times and it has been no trouble each time. I also like the fact that I can pay online with my card (they don’t treat non-US customers as if we are all fraudsters!).

I will keep you all updated. So far, I am so happy of my decision to go with a diamond alternative!

Brownbabygirl - One of the members over at BTD has an engagement ring from J-Direct and loves the setting so is replacing her stone with an Asha, you wont be dissapointed.

i have been lurking on BTD forum and heard people prefering to order 1.25 carat due to 'shrinkage'. Do you know what that is? Made me a bit woried lol (but I contacted BTD and asked to be upgraded to 1.25 and they did with pleasure)

Diamond Shrinkage is a phomina which afflicks some girls, were by over time they think their diamond looks smaller than it used to...


it isnt actually shrinking, but the girls love an excuse to upgrade their stone to a larger one
Its a bit like boys always wanting to make their cars more powerful... in my local car club we call it Upgraditist

Thanks Mrs H! I got my asha in tiffany design today from BTD and my eyes were so welling up with tears. i LOVE it! It looks like a million bucks. I am very pleased!!!:j:j:j
