If you think nobody cares about you, try missing a couple of payments.

You can indeed have more than one number on a single SIM. Certainly, with Orange you can activate a second line with it's own number.

Here's a link to the Orange site:

Yes, you can get a 'Line 2' from Orange. You pay less line rental for this second line.

In actual fact it isn't a seperate 'line/connection' but rather a product that is attached to your existing line. So if you were to terminate the original line, your line 2 would also terminate. You can disconnect a Line 2 at any time, and don't need to keep it for a minimum 'contract' term. It's a product rather like sms or GPRS etc.

If you need several numbers on one phone, as stated above you could use a stwin sim holder, and with 2 sims you can have 'Line 2' on each giving 4 'lines'.

The downside is that you would only receive/make calls from one sim at a time (2 numbers). To receive/make calls from the other sim you have switch your phone off then back on to activate the other sim.

A way round this is to divert the calls from the inactive sim to your active sim. You could do this without a twin sim holder. Just connect up a number of sim cards, and use the call divert function to divert all calls to your phone/sim that is active or the phone that you keep with you. This allows you to receive calls from as many sims as you want, but you can obvioulsy only call out from the sim that you have with you.

If you do receive a diverted call you are charged for the diverted leg of the call.

    Any of that make sense?
