WARNING
BT are 'pulling fast ones' with this advent thing, increasing prices on the offer goods prior to the 30% off day.
They've have done it again today, increasing the price of an IPAQ from £169 to £199 then offering 30% off.
With morals like this from such a large company makes me wonder when they'll move into the organised crime business.
I want tomorrows deal........19" TFT currently £299, tomorrow less 30%, lets see what they do with the price.0 -
AFAIK the price on the VideoSeven TFT has already been increased - from 289.99 to 299.99 - probaby a typo on their behalf and the meant to increase to 399!
Would appear they have 500 in stock at the moment, so unless BT do something really stupid it might still be available for around £210 at the stroke of midnight.
Suggest adding to basket before midnight and punching in the discount code of the first boing from big ben!

It has a 21 ms response time - isn't that quite bad? I'd quite like it otherwiseBeing bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:0

I still went for the IPAQ & TomTom bundle on the 30% off day - but discovered yesterday that I'm in a bunch of 76 orders waiting for them to restock the TomTom part.
Of course it said in-stock at the time of order.
Yesterday, the website reported they were out of stock and on the phone I was told they hoped to get the TomTom part in on Friday, delivering to the customer by Tuesday 21st.
Today the website claims the bundle is back in stock, but a phone call to them says they are now expecting to deliver on the 29th December! I mentioned they might want to change their website to say out of stock!
Anyone else had their HP/TomTom bundle delivered?0 -
We got our iPAQ w/TomTom on Monday but it *was* ordered at 00:01!! All seems to be fine with it and we've got it working. Just need to get ourselves lost now so we can use it!
Considered not buying it from BT out of principle but I definitely wanted one and was about to buy it from Currys who are no better. Plus thought that a savvy consumer wouldn't cut their nose off to spite their face and would get the best price available.
Wonder if it's too late to try and get £50 back though. What do you reckon?0 -
Hi folks,
The Register covered your plight yesterday (after a tip-off ;-) ), although it does look as if they just copied stuff from this thread verbatim without contacting BT:

Hurrah! I just got a £25 refund by phoning BT to complain about the price hike. I ordered 1 as a present too so actually got £50 back in total which might be their max per complaint rather than per order.0

My order came in a single package called the "tomtom navigation pack". This sounds (if not total baloney) as if they may have decided to shift any stock of the IPAQ 1710 by sourcing the tomtom addons separately.
@Trippy good for you. Better than a poke in the eye.0 -
just ordered one of the 19" TFT's, seems to have gone through ok @ a price of £209.99.
Good luck to anyone else after one.0 -
470 left in stock - not exactly flying off the shelves, wonder if BT have upset a few potential customers over the last few days!
