I used to live in Fally and Hohne and never had to take my sky dish with me as the quarters all had them fitted. The army recognised that most of us have sky so made sure that the quarters all had dishes.

In Paderborn there was a REME guy who used to adjust your dish
Sometimes its also word of mouth and can be cheaper than using the Sixth Sense.
Mind you if its a Unit move Im sure someone will be prepared to reap the benefits0 -
When I was posted in JHQ there used to be this bloke who did 200 miles around JHQ. He installed SKY dishes and even got you setup with SKY itself by using the Mill Hill address. Have a look in the back of the Sixth Sense newspaper for his details (if he;s still there.. lol)
would not use this service i looked into it and they charge a fortune in case you need to call Sky. best way is to register at a UK address of a family member preferably one without there own sky.Bargain BoyNo amount of money is worth more than good health0 -

So except for the £25 ish charge and having to buy the SKY box and dish I had the same as anyone in the UK.
Even had one of the 16th Signal guys make me a click box, so I could watch the pay per view's free....Debt free from January 2019 - Paid off £31,161.70 in 7 years.10 year anniversary0 -
This should help with the size of the dish required.
