free sim and 80p credit when u buy credit

saw this the other day also posted on ebay forum , seems a good offer as vodaphone  sims in shop cost over £5

this person is saleing sim cards which have 6.80 credit on them and they cost only  £6.00, that means u are making 80p and getting the sim card for free

    I can beat that.

A shop close to where I work is selling VODA sims for 99p or 1.99 can't remember but will check tomorrow.

BUT do the cheaper sims have any credit? What makes the original post interesting is that they have credit loaded onto the sim making them virtually free as you would have to pay the price just topping up the card.  The disadvantage being is that you would have to inform your friends and family of the change of phone number the new sim has registered to it, making it a pain in the butt and not really worth the hassle IMO.

Edit: After looking at the thread, when you have included postage you are looking at a profit of just 10p plus a rather useless sim card when the credit is expired. Although this is an excellent post for someone looking to either change over to vodafone from a different network or someone new to using mobiles. I find their tariffs extremely expensive when compairing to the virgin network i currently use.

All you need to do is hover your mouse over the poster's user name and at the bottom of your screen you see the original MSE user name. If you check posters on this thread you can see that Spikey was originally "theprofesser" ;)
