I'm on Madasafish for my broadband and I've been impressed! Reliable service and they've responded to my e-mails when I needed help (:
Pipex never did that when I was with them.0 -

My BT Broadband contract finishes mid Feb - I'm currently paying £17.99 a month. I called BT yesterday and was transferred to Customer Options who offered me one of two deals - another 12 months at £2.00 off a month with no contract, or five months at £4.00 off a month but with a contract for 12 months (remaining seven months you're back up to £17.99). Took the first one of course!
I haven't had any complaints at all with BT Broadband (phones are a different matter!) I was with Tiscali before and they're currently offering £14.99 a month on a 12 month contract but their Customer Service was absolutely abysmal!
I hadn't heard of Madasafish (not v. techie minded though). When I had a look at the site it seemed to suggest you'd have to pay about £16.00 to get started, so decided to stick with BT!0 -
I signed up to Madasafish yesterday. The clincher for me was the compare providers tool on www.adslguide.org.uk
The speed, reliabilty and customer service read favourably against many other providers.0 -
Just looked at the medasafish 8mb deal, 20gb max a month download, and if you go over this you have to pay £2 a gig extra, £19.99 for first 6 months and then price reverts to £25.99 with a 12 month contract.
As I usually download more than 20gb a month I'd be forever paying for extra, so no good to heavy downloaders, but if you don't intend to download more than 20gb you should be alright.
8Mb speed, if your line is capable, mine isn't so I can only get 2mb,
Don't know about service/speed/reliability and not read any reviews about them.
PS Just looked at their reviews by their customers and they seem quite good.0
