Broadband Accounts & Email Addresses

Does anyone know whether it's possible to change broadband provider but retain email addresses. I am moving into rented accomodation and can't necessarily get the same broadband provider but don't want to lose my current email addresses.

Depends on the provider
i.e. BT allow you to keep it for a fee

Actually BT make you make a dial-up connection at least once every three months or pay £15pa to keep it. There's a thread further down the board on it.0

I thought I read that the dial-up was only for ones that came with BT dial-up not BT Broadband0

I think that after you leave BT broadband they 'migrate' you into becoming a dial-up customer, so the dial-up rules appy. That's certainly what they did to me.
Apparently they have been lax about making people dial-up every 90 days, but are now tightening up on it.0 -
Thanks. I am currently with BT, so your comments are relevent. Sounds like, worse case, I can pay £15pa to keep the email addresses.0
