Cancelling Three

We phoned to cancel our Three contract last month, giving 30 days notice. We have received a letter today saying that they cancelled the service from 21st January. However, as the billing period runs until 19th January, and they took the payment for this month (in advance) do we now have to wait until 19 February for any refund? From experience with Orange they paid back any part month pro-rata (which they discussed during cancellation) but Three never mentioned anything when we were cancelling.

Many thanks

Ive just had that querie having cancelled my 3 contract and found yes they billed me for time after i was cut off but they never took that money, they then recalculated what i owed them and re billed me as my direct debit was cancelled by them on the cut off date, check your bank around the time the d.d should be coming off to make sure.
The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • Same with me. I got a final final statement about 4 weeks after I terminated-well impressed with the way they handelled it!
