I have never been able to get the bread right in the bread maker and always end up ditching it as after one day it is usually only good enough got toast. Plus it is always very very heavy.

Try using less/lighter fat or oil Len. It takes practice, and dont be tempted by the cheapest breadmaker mixes.....you definitely get what you pay for.

Btw, no debt NOT included with Mortgage!! But less than 5 years on Mrtg then I can knock £1400 pm off debt. Got a few waiting on no CCa at mo though ( £13K ) so fingers crossed.

BB, have you tried cutting out certain foods, in turn, for say a week at a time?
Mums side suffer from ulcers, DD is coeliac ( mild tho ).
I now have v little fat, almost nil bread, and ( relatively ) small amount of chocolate. All reductions had a noticeable effect on me and I was also getting similar symptoms.
they come back with an excess of sugar too.

It's always fat related. If I go on a low fat diet (as I am with SW now), if I then eat chocolate, anything with any fat in it, it flares up. I had some chocolate this morning and it started again, went down a bit, then I had lunch - leftover beef casserole - and it's flared up again. A few years ago, I was on a diet, very low fat and I was visiting my mum and dad. We had an indian takeaway............god, did I feel pain......I ended up on all fours in agony to try to be in a position to counter the pain and then threw up

No shoulder pain this time, but I usually do have it.

I had tests for crohn's and coeliac a few years back and they came back negative.

Am doing lots of belching :o and stretching my side/shoulder blade to try to make it do it more to try to hurry it up to stop!

I know don't tell anyone, I dont think anyone has noticed. You will have to share with me your bread making secrets over a pint or two in Manchester. But make sure you tell me before the 2nd pint otherwise I'll be asleep :D
