Ok heres what ive tried to do so far.
1.Downloaded superantispyware and installed it.Unfortunately when i try torun it i keep getting an error message.
2.I cant get onto the symantec website.
3.Downloaded the ccscan and ran it ok ran the scans and cleaned.
4.Still cant run Kaspersky as its saying AVG8 is still present.downloaded Avira but when i tried to instal, it kept asking me for an internet connection.

Noticed you guys wrote messages at 630ish this morning.Thats above and beyond,but very appreciated.

Reboot and keep pressing F8 until you get the SAFE MODE selection
Select SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING
Then try running everything again (EXcept hijack which needs to be run in normal mode)

read this on another thread-by superdad-should i try this as a way of getting rid of avg8 and thus installing Kaspersky.
