Existing BT Customers - Free Wireless Router!

Having had my broadband with BT over 12 months, I was in a very good position to push my luck with what I could get if i stayed with BT as my broadband provider.
At first (bloke operator) i was offered only 2 pound a month off the basic package for 12 months, if i committed to another 12 months with BT. I said no, got the MAC (migration authorisation code) and hung up.
Second call, (female operator) explained two possible discounts if i agreed to another 12 months: 4 pound a month off for the first 5 months, or the 2 pound off a month offered before. I wanted more!!!
I mentioned being interested in a wireless router, which she then added to either of the two offers, for free. (worth "£100"
) sweet.
After reeling from that, i mentioned that "would it be possible to put my broadband contract on hold if i was to leave the country for a few months?"
After asking her supervisor, she then said i could have the (cheaper) 2 pound a month off for 12 months, a free wireless router and no contract :j :j all for free.
