O2 Voicemail

Hi Guys

I know this might be a silly question but is it possible to pick up voice messages from my O2 PAYG via my 3 contract line, and if so how?

Any help will be grateful

Thanks

You will need to set up a PIN first.

IIRC, you can call your mobile number and when voicemail kicks in, press # and it will request your pin. Don't know whether this still works, but it did a few years ago.

Also, 07802 090100 gets a mention on a few websites, don't know whether that's any good.

Cheers DonnyDave tried it, but had no luck. I have just cracked it :j

    Dail your O2 number
Let the voicemail kick in and press *
then enter your pin and you can listen to you messages

You can get a "direct retrieval" number that yopu call directly to enter your PIN. I on't know how you get it though, mine was text'd to me by O2 when I roamed

I also had a text about that for roaming. I don't know if the number is dedicated though or common using either caller ID or number entry. Worth asking O2CS perhaps.
  • is there a default pin for o2 payg?

I believe the DR number is personally allocated. The default PIN I believe is 5701 (from memory). If you set the PIN to 0000, it doesn't ask you for it
