hello. Guess what? I'm still pregnant.

I'm trying to be upbeat, but my positivity has taken a real battering after no suggestion of labour the whole weekend.

Went for a LONG walk on the beach today and even went a bought some blue and some pink baby clothes to try and convince it to budge - but nothing.

I ended up in the bath about an hour ago talking through tears to my bump. I feel like I'm failing at this parental thing already.........

oh - 'tis just not fun anymore. I do hope that Caz has had more luck than me :D

Lovely to see you all the same, rmac! *hugs*

What's the next step in the plan of action? Are you seeing the midwife tomorrow? :)

    OMG !!!!

Very random to throw into the ironing talk, but I was just rubbing my bump and noticed that my outie has appeared !!!!

That was the one part of being pregnant I hated the last time, I kinda just hoped it wouldnt happen this time !!!

Mine is creeping out :( its sort of flat at the moment, I too can't stand it when its out! Did you find it got sore last time? Mine was really sensitive to anything touching it, including my clothes

yep MW coming tomorrow. We have to book an induction date now - bang goes my Home Birth plan! Oh well, hoping she'll let me go for a week tomorrow....we'll see. Hopefully baby will come before then :D She did say she would do another sweep if I wanted.

Thanks for the hugs - it's very much appreciated.

BTW - the clothes hubby and I chose are soooooo sweet. I just held them, folding and refolding them for ages this afternoon:rotfl:

:grouphug: Dodgy hugs for Rmac - poor you! (Actually, have you tried a bit of dodgy hugging to get you going??

I'm not even overdue yet and am feeling really impatient and fed up! OH won't even consider a bit of dodgy hugging - he's making me feel so wanted at the moment  .

What are the midwifes plans for you this week? (just saw your other post!) Oh well, at least you only have a week max to wait!)
