No, she's def not pregnant too :D Her OH keeps mentioning it and she's running out of reasons not to have them - she doesn't want kids at all really, but she's only 25 so for now the delaying tactic is "lets wait until we're 30..".

Elle - I always said either I didn't want kids or I wasn't sure and if it happened it happened...I am quite career minded and people seemed to believe me - enough of them were very shocked when I announced that I was :rotfl:

I used this line whilst we were trying too - very few people knew that deep down inside I wanted a child like mad!!

    Evening ladies :D
Had an OMG I AM HAVING A BABY moment on the way home from work...you would think I would be used to the idea by now!!!

Light, medium and dark blue. Nice and plain, to go with the hand knitted Cardigans from my Granny. Shall get a few snazzy outfits soon. I was almost crying when I bought them, crazy lady I am. She had difficulty getting the till to work, and I almost ran out of there. The reciept wouldn't print, but I asked her to keep trying incase I changed my mind and had to return them!

Can you switch browsers, AF? Sometimes I have to use IE instead of Firefox for some sites.

    xx

never thought of that. thought it must have been something to do with my settings that kiddicar didn't like.

    will give that a go

   haven't downloaded firefox since i redid the lap top. dont trust the lead not to cut out on me.

will order in the morning, but thanks for the suggestion SB, much appreciated.
  • Tara, your scan sounds like my 20 week one... She didn't point anything out and even though there are big TV screens hanging off the wall for the parents to look at, she kept sticking her big fat head in the way so only hubby got to see... She didn't explain any of the things she was looking at or measurements whereas when I had Aimee the lovely sonographer took me through everything and showed me all her innards... Thankfully I have another scan at 28 weeks so I'm hoping it will be someone nicer who will show us things...

Sami, you know a surprise is better than knowing ;) Only 3 months to go!

AM, Aimee started her swimming lessons in January, She's been swimming with me before so she's confident enough in the water but never had a proper lesson before... It's amazing the progress she's made in the last 5 or 6 lessons, tonight they told me she doesn't have to wear arm bands (she actually uses swim discs) anymore... And at no point have I had to get in the water with her, thankfully!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Now would be a good time to start believing you're having a baby fairly soon! ;) ONE MORE DAY AT WORK TO GO!!! :j (no going back in on Friday!)

Friend at work just jetted off for a weekend snowboarding in France on a whim.. she's too into that way of life to contemplate giving it up just yet! :) Plus she wants to have kids in Australia and she's here for another two years yet.
