im the only one of my friends to have kids ... its hard trying to make them understand that you cant just do what you like and the even if you did get an few hours to yourself to look round the shops you cant buy anything coz your kid needs something or you need to put a fiver on the gas :( x

I have been like that since 15, I didn't have kiddies that young, but my dad kicked me out so while my friends where spending money on clothes etc...any money I did get had to buy food, electric, gas etc...

    Mel x

I left home at 15, married by 16, 2nd child the week before my 18th. Never had the average life. Got to 25 and decided I wanted more than my council house, made me bloody strong though.

    Anyone heard from r.mac?
Too many children, too little time!!!

I've mine down for delivery in the middle or March. I'm going tomorrow to pay £300 off (I've got the cot and mattress on the plan too though) xxx
Well we still have £100 to pay, thoguht it was only £60 for some reason so OH will give me the money when he gets paid again in 2 weeks and i'll ask for it to be deliverd asap from then.

Warning - the 'What not in a pot noodle' is a fraud it's just like Super Noodles. I'm still starving even after crisps - got a lovely creme egg to eat now - trying to decide how to eat it though. That Malt-easter sounds fab.

Mel - go to bed and have a kip. Think of the money you will save not buying junk!

Cady - hope everything goes OK.

I am the last of my school mates to have kids at 25 (not that I associate with them anymore as I have moved about 4 hours away). The youngest was 14 and had her 2nd at 16 . The rest had all had babies between 16 and 18 - it was a small town with no real job prospects so it was the cool thing to do. Am glad I waited until I had bought my first house and we both had proper jobs.
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

    hi ladies,

back from going into town at lunch.

i didn't buy the bag at M & S like hubby told me to. I used the voucher to get my dressing gown (still a tenner left on the card) and got myself a cheaper bag elsewhere.

bought my raspberry leaf tea (now just need to look up how much i start off on. i think it's a cup a day but not sure when it starts increasing)

found a crib bale set online which is rather a good price (plain but down from £25 tpo £5) just need to decide on the crib

Talking of classes and labour. Would it be a problem to only have OH there when I give birth, even if he hasn't been to any classes or read anything about labour? Can't really think of an alternative really, Mum lives pretty far away. Brother and SIL are near, but neither have had babies!
I'm only having OH at mine, Mum is babysitting spud, We arent going to any classes as they dont get offered to 2nd time mums.
Dont worry, it's you that has to do all the work!:D
