Ps. no-one told me their thoughts on Cordelia don't you love me anymore?
My only issue is that I'm not a big fan of Delia or Cordy as shortened forms

and by the way both Edgar and Cordelia are Shakespeare characters which is partly why I like them - hubby won't allow Tatiana, amongst many other ones I like

When I'm thinking of names, I try to think of a toddler, an 8 year old, a 15 year old and a thirty something solicitor (or similar professional type!) with that name and only like it if it fits someone of all ages..

Have to say I'm not taken with Cordelia as I just can't picture it going with all the above ages

(obviously if you decide on that, I love it! )

Elle thats what I was thinking.
I like longish names that are "grown up" but have shortened forms suitable for when they are little and cute Like my name I'm Sami when I'm being cute and Samantha when I'm posh/grown up

Please note I can break any of my own rules to suit my feelings on a whim tho! :A

My DD is Jasmine Cora and she gets Jazzy for now, but will be Jasmine when shes older

have thought of Dylan or Isaac for a boy???
Cant think of any girls names as we used the only 2 we liked for DD !!!!

Just remembered a perfect example of my random rule breaking I really like the name Delilah - Hubby has veeto'd it tho

Personally dont like Celia but thats cuz I went to school with a nasty piece of work called celia !!!:mad:

Jessica gets my vote out of that list
