Had a bit of a dilemma on the valentines card front earlier..
As OH and I aren't married/engaged, I can't go for the husband/fiance ones; don't like calling him my boyfriend as he's 36; "To the one I love" makes it looks like I have various options and there's a need to confirm I've chosen him; and "someone special" makes it seem like it's a new relationship and I'm not sure if he's my boyfriend yet! ARGH!
Got a funny one in the end.. Thought it might be of use to those of you aren't feeling up to much in the bedroom but your OH's remain hopeful
Front: So it's Valentine's Day. Big deal. Who needs love? Who needs passion? Who needs raging, uninhibited sex?
Inside: Why do you keep raising your hand? Happy Valentine's Day!
(it was from Tesco but it's a Hallmark one, £1.48)0 -

My OH (who is also 36) read this and said 'do you think perhaps she's reading a bit much into it?'
Also think mine would be secretly quite pleased to think he was young enough for a boyfriend one.:jMFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -

*and relax*
Chinese has been eaten and DSS is in bed (slightly later than his usual bedtime but still - his mother lets him watch Jonathan Ross on a Friday night before we pick him up on a saturday  ). He turned 9 in January and just seems to have grown up loads in the last few weeks - he's still a sweetheart though and VERY excited about 23 days until his brother is due!!
   23 days - OMG - do not blink when you get to 7 weeks left ladies - the last 4 weeks (when we have been on count-down, rather than count-up) has absolutely flown!!
From earlier...
AM - glad you're okay hun, bet your OH is 'proud' of his manhood now that the worry has gone. I know what you mean about having a big bump - when I was about 32 weeks I went on a tour of the hospital and I was as big as or bigger than the ladies who were due within the next week or so
MrsT - sorry for the confusion over the isofix yesterday. I hope that the isofix in your car fits the maxi-cosi but agree with Sami that you need to get it checked out by a professional (I certainly will be doing with mine).
Glamazon - my hips are agony when I am in bed and they click like hell but I have had hip trouble since childhood so I kind of expected it.
Vicstar - congrats and welcome to you - don't worry about keeping up with the gossip, just dive straight in!! We all love answering questions (makes you feel like this pregnancy lark is a doddle)
Shell - my bump is in my lap tooNo advice to offer though I am afraid being a first timer...
Elle - I am so glad that I don't do valentines day...I overthink everything at the best of times, at least I can relax in Febplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Evening all
Congratulations to the ladies with the new arrivals, how wonderful!
Well, we bit the bullet and bought a car today! Got to wait till Friday to pick it up. Its lovely! Its a 4 door saloon, so its probably more sensible than our coupe. Very sad to get rid of current car, but 210,000 miles was just too much for her
I've chosen the pram and carseat I'm getting too, just need to actually buy them, which I'll do soon. Getting closer to buying!
Its my B'day next week. A month after, its my anniversary (8 years!) then a month after that its my due date! Its going scarily fast.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0
