Wow! Taken me ages to catch up!Hi Tiamai yeah at the scan place they just sort off scanned over it and said oh your sacs empty!! They measured it and it was measuring 20mm so it has grown from when i had a scan a few weeks before but will never ever pay for a private scan again. Ihave had no symptoms no bleeding or anything no cramps which is why we are so confued by the whole thing i have even started to get a little bump and i keep thinking maybe they didnt look hard enough was only on the bed for a min and i am a big girl!!! maybe the baby was hiding under all my flab!! :rotfl:
Not all private scans are bad. I went to BEard Mill Clinic on Oxfordshire which is run by a highly qualified sonographer who also does early Pg research, and she was fantastic. I think some of the cheaper places are not so good though. Sorry you had a bad experience but so glad it is likely that all is well. Couldn't see an update from you though?Feelinggood, know where you are coming from, a few people have just found out at work that i am pregnant and they looked so relieved, they didnt want to tell me i was getting fat haha, people are quick enough to comment if you're too skinny tho, makes no sense
I'm skinny and no-one comments to me! I desperately want my bump to look like a bump but TBH I mostly just look a bit fat right now and I have NO CLOTHES to wear! I am going through the frumpy stage I think.astonsmummy wrote: »Hello everyone.
Well we are fine!
Dr thinks the blood was basically friction
She's booked me in for a scan next Thursday to check Bubs growth, she said I am big but it's not an exact science and even less so because he is breech.
She also told me not to worry cos he still can turn around, so fingers crossed.
She done some swabs and checked my cervix, all ok.
I feel a bit of a prat now, I think it's just over paranoia because of the prem labour with DS.
She wants my MW to monitor me weekly for a while as I'm getting pain and was really tender when she felt bubs, gave me some co-codamol and sent me on my way.
AM - great news! :j HEre is a site someone recommended on another forum to get baby to turn:
http://www.spinningbabies.com/
Talking of other sites, a friend and I have started a forum for people who have had a mc. If anyone here would like to join, PM me for the address as I'm not allowed to post it. It is only for mc experiences so you'd still come here for all your preggie tips etc., but there is a bit on it for PG after mc too. We couldn't find anything else like it on the net so hope it will be helpful. My friend was particularly in need having just had her fourth mc.
Well, today I am 16+5 and used my doppler this morning. THe heartbeat was v strong - think Bubba is now getting too big to hide from me- and I also heard the thudding of kicks and punches
:T
So exciting!
Saw SLumdog Millionaire last night and tonight off out for dinner with my friend who just had a mc (and with whom I've set up the forum).
Hope everyone has a nice day. x:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

another story for staffie haters to jump on to, wouldn't surprise me if it was the jack russell tho they are much harder to train and have a very stronger hunting instict IMHO (even though a JR is one of the dogs I'm considering getting
with staffie not too far behind!)
Blame the owner not the breed :A0 -

My mum offered to have Chris on our wedding night "so you can be alooone" _pale_ maybe ur mum thinks you need to be aloone for sexy time too
does anyone else feel sick when their parents forget that you are their child and therefore not an appropiate person to talk about anything remotely sexual to? or is that just my weird family
I remember the day after my wedding thinking everyone now knows we have done 'it'!!! :rotfl:
And when announcing a pregnancy, everyone knows you have done 'it'!!! :rotfl:

I'm not a huge dog person, but these types of things really anger me. How many of these tragedies have to happen before people realise they need to be cautious with dogs around babies - or at least use common sense?? Our neighbour before we moved had a dog that I swear was the size of a horse and I had to speak to them a number of times about the dog being loose outside. You could be getting out of your car and it would charge at you, barking. If I heard from them once, I heard it a hundred times - oh he's harmless he'd never hurt you. Uh huh. My child would be like a chicken nugget to that dog! And they leave that dog alone in the house with their toddler and baby all the time - while they're outside chatting to friends, having a smoke, and such. Makes me cringe.Even the best trained dog can get set off.
And yes, that's blaming the owners, not the breed. I think ANY dog could go after a child given the appropriate circumstances.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0 -

Me and OH made sure we did it on our wedding night - we'd hardly had anything to drink anyway - and again in the morning!
Think my brother finds the hardest thing about me being PG is that he knows for sure that me and OH (his mate for years) really HAVE 'done it' :rotfl: . DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j
