I've just had a txt off my Mum, I was asking her for her school holiday dates earlier today so I could work out when to have my blood test coz I can't go alone with Chris in tow as I can't walk/drive anywhere for at least half an hour after they take it! She's just said I "have" to have baby early or right on time because she'll be off school then, I said I'd let bump know :rotfl:

and on the subject of OH's my hubby said a while back I'm worried about the baby
    Me: why?
OH: what if its not as cute as Chris
Me: *laughing* of course it will be
OH: but Chris is so perfect and I love him so much, how do you know I can love this one as much?
    Me: awww u silly sausage!

I've been meaning to ask.. If you're going to pile weight on all over and not just on your bump, is there a particular time when it happens? Particularly in the second or third trimester, or just randomly?

My mum says she can see the difference in my hips and I'm looking fatter in the face - which I'm happy about! :)

It's your body laying on fat ready for breast feeding. I feed for 6 months, determined to get rid of as much of it as possible.

I don't think so. I think I get BH's after BD'ing, and my bump definitely tightens. This just feels like crampy stretching, almost constant. As if he is stretching every side of me out at once! I imagine him being like a starfish, trying to get himself some more space. Its been there all week, but has stopped now I've popped!

Sounds like he's found his comfy spot now, like a bloke in bed, tosses and turns and makes such a fuss then once he's comfy a bomb wouldn't move him.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I had a chat with mum about BF when I was home last weekend and she said with both of us she had TONNES of milk and it came down straight away when we were there... Granted she said she never had boobs in league with me - I get them from my paternal grandmother :rotfl:
The ladies on that side are also slightly more padded in general it has to be said :)
Oh and I'm NOT happy with the width of my hips! OMG where did that come from! I mean it can't have been the fact I have been eating solidly for a week right? (I kid you not - I can't stop eating at the moment!!!)

I'm currently eating my body weight in mini dimes... I have jaw ache now... But there's only a couple left... (And I will not be counting the empty wrappers!)

After my early days cravings of anything with meat... I seem to be swinging the other way... Picked just the pasta out of my spaghetti bolognaise...

And as for walking like an old lady when you get up in the night... This baby is going to come out fluent in under the breath swearing which is what I do as I hobble across the bedroom at 4am... Although I think how the baby lies has a lot to do with it... I've found it a lot easier the last couple of days than it has been but baby has also been doing a lot more downward kicks again so I think it's spun itself around...

Everyone would say "ooh your all bump" but those who know me well like my mum and me could see that I had got a little bit bigger all over which I think was mostly water as it all disappeared within about 3 days of giving birth, but my hips had got bigger from birth and never got smaller again and my tummy was bigger but if you felt it you could tell that it was mostly stretched skin not fat, I thought I would end up a size 10 - 12 as I was an 8-10 (8 if I'd beeen going the gym 10 if I'd be lazy) pre this preg I actually was only 1/2 st heavier than pre chris so I'm not too bothered coz I think if I got back in the gym I'd slim back down to a "perfect 10" quickly.
I'm not sure if I will try to loose the weight ever unless I end up much bigger after this one coz Hubby like me with meat on me bones (aka with bigger boobs)

Sami - looks like we have to drive to MK to pick up MIL tomorrow so will stop by JL and try out the easifix base for the maxi cosi - hopefully if it doesn't I can still cancel the order with Amazon before they dispatch it... ah well...

Off for a bath with a large glass of milk... oh the high life...
