You are missing the two types of protection that Vista itself has that can affect installation and uninstallation issues with any program... including AVG.

Disable Windows Defender and then disable the Vista UAC... restart the computer..

1. Download the latest AVG Free installation package from URL="http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/us/frt/0?prd=aff"][U][COLOR=#00396b]free.grisoft.com[/COLOR][/U][/URL
2. Run the AVG Free install file
3. Choose the Uninstall option and follow the setup wizard, when you get to the part to remove user settings, select it.
4. Restart your computer then...
5. Now reinstall AVG using the setup file you got in step 1 and update it.

Stop at step #4 if just uninstalling but restart twice instead before you re-enable anything disabled earlier.


I'd also suggest that if you haven't yet updated your Vista to SP1 ( and the other updates that came after that as well ) ... to do that first

thank you for those who gave me advice but i finally removed this from my pc this morning . last night i downloaded avira done a scan . then blow me put pc on this morn and i could remove avg thank good
