I have avg 8 free on my pc but it keeps coming up with this
nstaller initialization failed due to following error:
Error: @AvgErrorCode_0x0253 %FILE% = "C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8"
@AvgErrorCode_0x0020
i have tryed to delete it from my system programme file in the control panel but it wont let me delete it i am the person that owns the pc
i want to uninstall as it wont let me up date. as it says its out of date have put my code in but still nothing:mad: so now i am just getting angry with it .
i just want to delete it off my pc so i can download it afresh i have tryed all the usual things but nothing
can some one suggest any thing plzzz

You might want to consider a change of anti virus ~ AVIRA or AVAST:idea:0 -
I agree with Rik; the only help anyone needs with AVG is how to uninstall it.
Try Avira AntiVir instead.0 -

i think i must be thick as i have down loaded this run it and saved it but still cannot do anything ? cannot open it as cannot find it lol0

If memory serves correct, it should be in MY DOCUMENTS then....downloads?:idea:0 -
just looked in my documents and no not in there and looked in subfolders no and looked on tempery internet files no ?0
