Faulty SE C905 D-Pad

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post in so please feel free to move it to the right one if it isn't.

I have a problem with my SE C905phone as it seems that the down pad button has became quite stiff and difficult to navigate with. I got the phone as part of an 18 month contract in November 2008 with CPW and didn't take any insurance out with them as i thought they were expensive. Any way within having my first first c905 for no more than 2 weeks the down pad button became stiff and i went back to the store and they exchanged it for me. Now the same thinghas happened again and i know that this phone is not going to last the 18 months when this keeps on happening. CPW have said its under warranty with SE and they can send it for repair. They also said that even if i did have insurance with them it wouldn't have made any difference?. I am just concerned that this is the 2nd time its happened with this make of phone and i haven't even had the phone 4 months yet!. I was just wondering if anyone else had came across the same problem and how did they get it sorted out?

Any advice would be great.

Thanks
