Are there any introductory offers for getting a Tesco cc. I want to get one for Airmiles because my RBS cc is stopping doing them. Would be nice to get some points for taking out the card.0

Thanks
When I applied for Tesco Clubcard plus 2 years ago, it withdrawn all the leaflet from the store already. I called the Tesco saving helpline, and then ask them to send me the application.

I was getting the same problem as well. However, I wrote them a letter explain that the reason for applying a Tesco CC was for Tesco point, dont mind the credit limit at all.
Also provide them good bank statement as reference, after few week, I was approved, and three months later, gave another 500 lift on the limit.Spend smart, and save more.0 -
I can't find any reference to the Clubcard plus CC either. It seems the only card to give clubcard points in the Tesco Clubcard Credit card, but the points rate is significantly different from that quoted earlier in this post.
It currently is offering
5 points/£4 in Tesco stores and
1 point/£1 elsewhere. Edited, this should be 1 point/£4
Has anyone seen any better offers, or Airmiles reward cards with an introductory bonus?0 -
Tesco credit cards have changed recently.
New ones, choice of 2, either get some interest back and no points (not a very good offer) or the points card gives you 1 point per £4 shopping anywhere (plus 1 point/£ in Tesco as normal clubcard)
Old cards. were ordinary and Finest, both the same as far as I could tell, give you 1 point per £2 shopping anywhere, plus 1 point/£ in Tesco too.
Shell do a visa card that gives you Shell points, can also be exchanged for Airmiles, works out as £1200 for 60 Airmiles, so not very good. They did have a good bonus points when you joined up but I can't find a link now.0 -

ClubCard Plus isn't a credit card, it's more like a basic current account with a debit card that can only be used in ATMs and Tesco stores. You can't find it on their website, but you may still be able to apply by calling Tesco Personal Finance and asking for an application form.
