And BB, i really wasn't prying, but ouch! at the mortgage.... !
no worries Maz, I don't mind sharing any aspects of my budget! Yep, the problem with living down here is high prices. I bought my house 5 years ago and whilst it now has healthy equity in it and I had 50k to put down as a deposit, there's still a huge mortgage on it.
I think you're enjoying the teaching so much, i believe that it will be the making of you....! it's just the prep time involved, is there no way to minimise that?

only when i've taught a course once, then if it is run again, I can pick up the folder, do any little tweaks and use the existing scheme of work, handouts etc. When a course is new, it needs lots of paperwork to go with it unfortunately.

Jinks........I had visions of a drunk Len and a drunk pepe having a 'wii off' in the way drunk blokes do !!!!! :rotfl:

    Toto your daughter is beautiful

Pania - what pants news about the job, it sounded so good, and you had to move away from us.

BB - i'm glad i moved away from Poole when i was 16, i'd never be able to afford to live there, actually that's why we moved away, we couldn't afford to live there so headed norf.

Had a lovely run in with a stroppy woman in boots, i queried why i didn't get my 100 points for buying the HE shampoo & conditioner. Was initially told only applied to new range, so i pointed out the word ANY in bold, was then told that as my was clearance i wouldn't get them, once again pointed out the word ANY then was told had to spend a minimum of a pound. Pointed out a) no mention of a minimum spend and b) 74p + 44p is more than a pound. Still didn't get my points but boy did i try, and they are now changing all their offer notices.
Was also in desparate need of a skirt but apparently nobody wears them these days, well thats how it seemed in the shop. Guess i'd better hoik out the sewing machine and get busy.

hiya Lemon Tree - I always associate you with Poole because of the shop on the High St called Lemon Tree, I don't think it is there now, but I loved it, it was a really cool shop with crystals, burners, shabby chic furnishings, wind chimes etc. It was packed to the rafters with stuff and tiny, but I loved going in there. What a coincidence with your name!

I always associate Lemon Tree with Colchester, as there's a restaurant there of the same name - which someone I'm (still) fond off took me for a meal once.
