Once the info is collated, we'll get in touch with the FSCS to try and get the latest information and let it know what we're hearing. Over the next few weeks THIS TOP POST will be updated with info.

That's one of the most stupid advertising stunts I've ever heard of.

And they would never dare to say there was no Allah.....

What makes it a stunt? How does it differ from any of the adverts for the 'Alpha Course' or similar such 'advertising stunts' in railway stations across the country warning us of the damnation we face if we do not embrace god? And Allah is kind of covered by the 'there is probably no god' slogan. I find it rather depressing that followers of such a speciously loving and open god would be so upset by a dissenting opinion. Perhaps you should view it as an opportunity to discuss and debate these questions rather than simply dismissing them.

    Vocational freedom has arrived
  • I can only speak for myself but I think that the way Icesavers like myself had their money returned by the FSCS was magnificent. Well done FSCS, a brilliant job.

It was a bit of light-hearted fun that was intended to parody the number of adverts for religions that we get in London. As it happens the level of overwhelming support they got from members of public allowed them to have their fun with several buses rather than just one.

And they already states that Allah probably doesn't exist, simply by saying "There's probably no god".

I must say that I hadn't planned for this to turn into quite such a big deal. It was just a passing comment on something I find quite amusing.

He recommended them as the highest interest rate and spelled out what the FSCS would do in the event of a collapse of that bank. Many warnings went out about the stability of various banks around the world, and if you ignored the warnings and stayed there, then you can't blame someone for telling you where the best rates were. I ignored the warnings, but that was because I genuinely didn't think Icesave was going to go so badly wrong, and as a result I waited a couple of months to get my money back. No big deal, I got it back, all I lost was a little bit of interest.

err people the Muslim god is the same god as the Christian god! Just the prophets and the "son of god" bit change somewhat between the two :P

People who invested money abroad knew they were taking a risk but when it goes pear-shaped they expect the UK government to bail them out! Another example of greed being bailed out by us.
