just because i live in a different world to you and your sad little life doesnt mean im not telling the truth.
and the reason i dont own my home yet is because i spent most of 2008 traveling across the world for work.
You don't know what I do but I wont rise to it but I was in beter situation than you at 23 so thats why I know you are talking !!!!!.

I don't get it. You keep asking about his personal circumstances so that you can then point your finger and call him a liar? Maybe he is, maybe he isn't, but I've met worse spoken people with worse people skills who were in more senior and higher paid positions than he's claiming to be in. I also know people on 6 or 12 month contracts so it's not totally unbelievable.
I do find this thread very amusing. There have been some good calls, but I think Panda has made me laugh more times so far.0 -
I think we are beginning to see flaws here, final salary pension scheme for free. I get a FSP and it certainly isnt free, I get private healthcare but you pay tax on the benefit. My BIL who is CEO of a large software company gets about £1000 per month as a car allowance but earns £300k plus share options. All of this sounds like a load of rubbish to me. Also the attitude that he could do alot of damage if he left his current company, well people moving from competitor to competitor all the time.
so what?
i joined the scheme before they capped the people who didnt have to pay. new people who join pay 5%.
i work for a company who rewards success. last year was a good year for me.
yes the car scheme is overkill but they recognise it motivates people.0 -

wishful thinking and realistic
you're entitled to your opinion but would like you take notice of the below.
from a previous quote of yours (below) you claimed that prices should at 2003 pricespandamonia wrote: »most of them still think its 2007 prices when we should be at 2003
these are your Average Prices for the West Midlands comparing 2003 and today.
January 2003 103,392
December 2008 132,301
For them to get to these prices it would need another 22% drop plus the 13.6% drop from this year.
they have dropped 13.6% from December 2007 to December 2008.
it would then mean that properties would need to continue dropping every month for the next 2 years and 8 months. I've not even compunded this as it would be probably another 8 months. do you think that it is realistic?
i don't think you're being realistic probably more wishful thinking.
your initial post made some sense but when you drill down into the numbers it's not realistic what you are saying.0
