don't buy one! They'll be giving them away free with packets of cornflakes next week!
RIM have released them before they have proved to be stable enough.Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0 -
theres big problems with the screens they keep breakin! there not touch screen as they lead you to believe there a gel screen u have to push an the gel leaks sometimes, whn u send it in for repeir they say its ur fault not a fault of the phone which it actually is an u have to pay for the damage unless you have insurance as they refuse to cover it under warrenty!
plus it has no wifi!0 -
Agree with both of the above, it was Vodafone that pushed RIM to get them out. This is also why RIM/Vodafone have not released them to the commercial sector yet - although they state this is due to current demand and supply issues0

They look great but the no WiFi is a killer for me... everything has to be done over Vodafone's network, and I know "unlimited" Internet is included, but WiFi makes it much easier and faster especially when you're at home and using a home router etc.0

Erm, not quite right mate, my 'commercial sector' customers have all sent them back. Takes 20 million years to send an e-mail from them. Screen issues etc.
Mind you Apple had similar issues with the first issue of the i-phone a couple of years ago. In their rush to get the xmas market- their product wasn't stable either.Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0 -
I would agree with Soul619 and spirit. Don't get a new phone that early on until all its teething problems are solved with updates. 24 months is an awfully long time!0

We still cannot order them on our Vodafone account our account manager says it is going to be a few months yet. I deal with some 500+ connections for our company consisting of 3G Cards, Blackberry Pearl's with BES and standard Nokia 6300's0

the unlimted part is limited! i took this from there terms:
Mobile Internet and email pack (Pay monthly customers only)
The Mobile Internet and email pack is a monthly data access bundle available on compatible price plans. It can be included in your monthly line rental fee or added to your account as a monthly subscription. The Pack gives you unlimited data access in the UK only, subject to a fair use limit of 500mb per month. If we think your use is excessive or that you are abusing the service we may ask you to moderate your usage and/or we reserve the right to charge you for the excessive element of your usage at the standard out of bundle rate for your price plan. We may also move you to a more suitable price plan or an equivalent price plan without a Mobile Internet and email pack. The Mobile Internet and email pack is for private non-commercial use only and roaming charges apply to all data access from abroad.0 -

As of this morning there are 959 of them (enterprise versions, I assume you have your own BES) in the Corporate warehouse.
Perhaps this is more to do with your contract than availability?Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0
