Tesco Clubcard/Vouchers/Points/Deals - Post All Questions Here [merged]

I wonder if anyone could help me with my query? I recieved a second lot of vouchers the other day (turns out the keyfob clubcard and my card one, which I very rarely use but happened to have to hand when I placed an order for bunkbeds with tesco direct have different account numbers) phoned up tesco as I could not access that account online and they merged the accounts which I am fine with. However, today although the merged card details are visible none of the vouchers for that second account are viewable online, even the ones that came in the post the other day! Have emailed them but of course they are very busy at the moment so I wondered if anyone had had a similar situation and how it was resolved?0

Hi it took 6 days for my reward vouchers to come in the post, I am guessing that they have a BIG backlog with everyone doing the same before it goes down to x 3Jan Wins: .0

Hello,
Has anyone else experienced slow delivery of thier clubcard deal vouchers?
I placed three lots of orders, the first one was dispatched by Tesco on the 9th November they arrived on the 13th. The second and third orders were allegedly dispatched just a day later on 10th November and they still haven’t arrived.
Any feedback will be great as its driving me mad now as they're holiday vouchers and i just want to book as the prices are increasing everyday!
I received some today that were dispatched on the 8th. I think they are going off somewhere in bulk, but not actually being delivered by Royal Mail for some time.0 -
Quite new to Clubcard points and received my first set last week. I'm a bit confused about the voucher exchange. I understand that in some areas, £5 turns into £10 and in other areas £10 turns into £20. Isn't that exactly the same? So why don't they just put in all areas clubcard values are doubled?
As mentionned, it has nothing to do with area but more what you would like to 'buy'. I think it's a way of stopping you doubling up unless you have a certain amount of vouchers. For example, I was somewhat frustrated to find I had £159 worth of vouchers that I wanted to double up.:D Because I wanted the 10 to 20 deal I could only double up £150 worth rather than the full amount which means I have a further £18 to find towards my purchase. *sulks*0 -

Yep - and if you double up that £150 to £300 of on-line vouchers and then you spend £299.99 on-line, they won't let you use the last voucher until you buy something else that will take up that last penny!0 -
I ordered mine over a week ago and still haven'[t got them - not like Tesco to be so slow.:(Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Since Tesco use another mailing company (DHL or someone like that) rather than Royal Mail for postal services, they probably pass the letters to this company daily.
It is then up to this company when they decide to pass them to Royal Mail for delivery. In my experience as a postie, this can take up to a week on occasion.
A lot of this type of mailing used to be handled as "Mailsort" by RM. Now it is what is known as "downstream access mail", a lot of which arrives at RM for delivery on a Saturday.
HTH.Going down the Oteley Road to see the Shrewsbury aces! :T0 -
I expect they are busy as lots of people will be changing them to beat the december deadline.0

Also note that you won't get change - so if you use a £10 off coupon to buy £8 of items, you won't get any money back or any vouchers back.
You can't buy something under the value of the doubled-up token and just "lose" the change... if you had a £10 token and wanted to buy something for £8, the till wouldn't accept the token. The total has to be equal to or greater than the token value. Eg. the other day I selected toys to the value of £58.94 and the till would only accept £50 worth of tokens, so I had to pick up a small "filler" toy to take the total to just over £60 so that I could use all 6 vouchers.0 -
Yep I ordered restaurant tokens early in the morning of 3rd Nov. Received dispatch email at around midnight that night (or early hours 4th Nov) but they didn't arrive until either 10th or 11th Nov (can't remember which date exactly but know it was quite a wait!)0
