One: no it won't reset the points total to include the unused voucher.
Two: yes keep the voucher - its the only way to spend it, and besides it has a life of two years i.e. by the time you have it for that period you may have many more. Tesco, normally, send out vouchers every quarter - Feb., May, Aug., & Nov.
Moreover, if it has just expired, clubcard can reinstate the points on your curent total.
Thanks for your response. So do I have to wait for the vouchers to expire before I can request for the points to go back on my total?0 -
We have approx. £160 worth of vouchers, which equates to £640 worth of Clubcard Deals tokens.
We are leaving the country to live abroad in a few weeks.
There's nothing in particular we'd like to use the vouchers on.
What would be the best item to purchase with deals tokens for the purpose of selling on and raising as close to the actual purchase price as possible?
Was thinking of buying a watch from Goldsmiths but looks like eBay prices are nowhere near the full price from the shop.
Please advise!
Many thanks0 -

No, you don't have to wait for them to expire, just be near to expiring.
Also if you don't want to get vouchers every quarter, join the Christmas club - you will then only get the vouchers once a year, for the christmas time shopping (ie November mailings).0 -

Have a look on Ebay... Lots of people selling theirs... They put them into the auction and say that the winner will be able to pick what you will exchange the vouchers for them for.
I've never sold or bought any, I am just saying that is what lots of people is doing.0 -
Sorry if this is a stupid question
I have always had my tesco vouchers sent out around Christmas time but have decided to use some points as rewards for some days out. I tried do this online but it would not let me checkout, kept asking me for a 12 digit online code?? Do I have to contact Tesco to inform them I want to change to rewards?

You can't just exchange your points - you have to wait for your voucher to come through and on it is printed the code that it is asking for.
If you have it set up for Christmas club (ie once a year voucher mailing only) then you need to give them a ring and tell them you want to change back to quaterly mailing and you will get your vouchers in the next quaterly mailing with everyone else (August).0 -
Hey all,
I just recently purchased some airmiles using my clubcard vouchers (24th June) and I am aware that Tesco state that it may take up to 28 days for these to be credited to my account. I was wondering if anybody had expierience of whether it does take this amount of time or they are credited sooner (I am still waiting)?
I wish to book some flights at the end of August and I am aware of the fact that the flights may become fully-booked soon - is it worth phoning airmiles to see if they could speed it along?
Also, how do Airmiles know to which account to credit the miles? I presume it is done on an email or address basis as that is all of the disclosable information that Tesco have about me?
Many thanks.
I don't think mine took the full 28 days to be credited, but maybe it varies during busier times of the year.
I don't know how they track the Airmiles account, like you I presume by name & address.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07

They don't track the account. That is why is it taking so long!! When I exchanged Tesco vouchers for Airmiles for the first time I was waiting where is it going to ask me if I have existing Airmiles account and for the number and then it didn't, so I thought they will find me by name and address.
About 3 weeks later I got Welcome to Airmiles pack!! I just rung them and they consolidated both accounts together and when I exchanged to Airmiles since it is always credited to the right account.0 -

Well if they are still valid - they don't need canceling, - unless for example, you lost them. But if they had just or were about to - by all means call ...I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0
