I've emailed too as I can see no sign of the 300 points for car insurance anywhere on my statement either.

I'm beginning to lose track of how many till spits of these £5.00 off next £40 shop - I've had! Once the offer started - every time I've spent £40+ - I've had a till spit for the next £40 spend.
So while, the 'offer' is on I'm stocking where I can.

Trouble is we rarely spend £40* Yesterday I was shopping for an elderly relative and ourselves, and still the bill was about £28 ! (After getting home I thought of a couple of items that we didn't buy, but that wouldn't have got us to £40!).

    * maybe I should be buying Finest, rather than yellow stickered products ;):D

Found £40 of clubcard vouchers when I checked tesco.com Clubcard this morning. Does Tesco not send them out anymore ? OH currently trying to print them off. Anyone had problems getting these accepted at Tesco Express ? If so I'll do an Internet shop to use them up. Thanks !

If necessary I've been stocking up on things like kitchen roll and toilet paper to get the bill up to £40 and use the £5 off voucher. Things that we always use (and good offers ATM too).

Don't tell my wife about kitchen roll and toilet paper, she gets through so much already !!! (We keep the empty rolls for charity, and even they were surprised how many we give!!).

However, other shops are normally much cheaper than Tesco for those products.

A bit naughty but you could buy a DVD that is about £15 then take it back to CS and ask for a refund bought by mistake!! Assuming it takes you past the £40

  • I'm sorry if this is covered elsewhere, but if i used my clubcard vouchers to convert into avios points but I dont have an avios account do clubcard apply/open new account for me?
Was hoping to be able to credit husbands avios account with the vouchers.
My paper clubcard statement was addressed to us both as he is a secondary credit card holder, but the online clubcard statement only has my name associated with it?
    Does this make a difference?

You are best off creating your own Avios A/c on their website that way you will possibly eligible for the extra Avios they are giving away over and above the 400 extra with Tesco -you should be able to see the promotion get an extra 2000 avios per quarter for collecting a new way.

When you need to merge your avios with those of your husband to spend them then just create a household a/c
