Investment opinions please

Options
Hi, I have just transferred £11k from a poorly performing Cash ISA into my Hargreaves Lansdown S&S ISA and would like peoples opinions on my investment ideas. At the moment I'm heavily weighted in Global Growth and feel I need to balance things out a bit.

Current S&S ISA Holding = £8,500 (aprox)

1-Artemis Global Growth = 40%
2-Jupiter Ecology = 40%
3-Artemis Euro Growth = 7% + £50 per month
4-Blackrock UK Smaller Companies = 7% + £50 per month
5-Allianz Bric Stars = 3%
6-Blackrock UK Absolute Alpha = 3% + £50 per month

Proposed New Investments = £11,000 - possible funds in brackets

£2,000 each into 2 Corporate Bond Funds (Invesco Perpetual/Royal London)
£2,000 into North America (M&G American/Investec American)
£2,000 into FTSE Allshare (HSBC)
£1,000 each into 3 existing funds
FIRE !!!

you would only have about 20% in corp bond funds - I'd go for more

    Hello Dasherman.
How much do you pay Lansdowne for setting that up? And have you chosen those funds yourself?

Initial charge = max of 0.25%
Annual charge = between 0% & 1.5% depending on fund
Yes I chose the funds myself.

You do know that HL have removed that fund from it's Wealth 150 list ?? (of funds that pay them the biggest backhanders)

Not that it is necessarily a good or bad thing, but apart from what HL say that particular fund hasn't performed as well as some in it's sector over the past 12 months or so, and it might be worth looking at closely.

I agree it has gone down a lot recently, although it went up a fair bit before that.

If its a high risk fund surely thats what you would expect? In bad times it will do worse than the average and in the good times it does better than the expected?
