So do I after all this faffing around! I don't understand why they could not accept my bank statements as proof of income though. All my credits are clearly listed and where they came from
Mate the reason for this is that you could be taking receipt of benefits for a friend/partner/family member etc so they need the letters just to confirm that you do get the benefits you stated, i.e. DLA or whatever cos people on JSA/I.S is not guaranteed like DLA is.....
Just their processes - I only know this cos someone else said same on CAG - exactly same scenario mate, even a Tesco CC... :j2010 - year of the troll

You know what is funny, just got letter from UB today telling me they have approved a card for me (i've had one 2mth) LOL
Ermmmm - whatever UB! Started with 2 grand and now its at a grand so they do take notice of the CRA monthly updates - evidently!2010 - year of the troll
