Got declined. They said there isn't a reason why, and to phone Experian/Equifax to work out why. Ugh. :(

Can take a couple of weeks to reassess the application and to ring back on Friday
  • Hi

I'm not sure who it was that appealed their BOI decision but just wondered what the outcome was? I sent an appeal letter 2 weeks ago...

Oh, dam and drat. 'There isn't a reason'? There is always a reason but they never tell you though, do they. Pity Effect.

Well the only way you are going to know is to apply. ;)

Did you apply some weeks ago and get accepted but had to pay a deposit?

Yes, that was for a £20 contract for the Nokia 5800. My credit report was 0 active accounts and 6 searches. Now I have 3 active accounts, 2 greens on all accounts and 12 searches. Not sure which is better, now or previous.

Give it a whirl. The 3 times I have tried they searched Equifax.
