going to send them a letter 2mo with a wee cheeky offer as i only have £1900 ish left on the loan as going to transfer balance from loan to my flybe card once am next home as APR alot lower and will beable to clear it faster for less

Especially with them in dire straights they may reduce it right down just to clear the debt.

Well that's difficult to say really what do you think. Try half and see what they say, I know it's a little cheeky but they may write back and say Ok, that'll do.

going to try them with £1000 and see what they say anyway. will send off letter 2mo and let you guys know as am sure i wont get a reply till i return on 29th april

Also another thing they knocked off £2k on my other loan with them so after this one paid am tempted to do the same with a cheeky offer
