It's brass monkeys out there  Hope everyone is all tucked up nice and cosy in bed :)
I have been up since 7am, hoovered the living room etc.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Blimey Mr P, that's good going for a Sunday :p

I have a question. I have about £1200 outstanding on my Amex with an APR of 17%. I also have a £1500 o/d facility with A&L. If I use this o/d I get charged £5 a month. Should I use this o/d to pay off the Amex? It would work out cheaper with regards to interest, but I don't like the idea of using that much of my O/D, and then knowing my luck I wouldn't get paid on time at the end of Feb to cover all my payments  What would you do?

Paying off £1200 @ 17.5% will cost you £210 over a year, move it to your A&L overdraft will cost you £60 over a year.

So I should move it to A&L then?

I thought that would be best. It's more of a pyschological thing I guess. It's like my bank account being overdrawn means I'm seriously skint lol.

So what's your plans for today?

Lucky G/F lol. Curry last night, pub lunch today!

I'm going to take my dog for a nice long walk in a few minutes. Then I'm seeing my friend and her little baby boy. I want to get down to Bluewater to get some stuff for my holiday, so I'll try and squeeze that in today. Plus I have a mound of washing to do

Who said Sundays were for relaxing lol

What does that have to do with credit cards ?

    You are new here, obviously.

To others unfamiliar with the sub-prime credit card thread: yes, cards and associated problems are frequently discussed here, but beware; to the unwary it can sometimes feel as if you have stumbled in the midst of the most private of conversation or entered a weird, scatty chit-chat world.

When I first encountered this thread I was a little surprised at the off-topic chat but quickly came to realise that it is exactly that which is compelling - and sets it apart from anything else on the forum. There is a friendliness and a warmth here that anyone lucky enough to stumble upon would do well to encompass and hold dear. Please don't knock it.
