Perhaps i'm being paranoid as I was refused an Express account and Vanquis card - all of which searched Experian. I have had lots of declines with companies searching Ex...So maybe am presuming that my Experian file has something 'dodgy' on it that I cannot see??

On the other hand, I have just recently been successful in getting a catalogue who searched......Equi.:D

In the interim, it still will not hurt sending out these Subject Access Requests etc.....and seeing what comes back?

when this link becomes live (next few days) it will explain everything to you mate and have template letters and info of what agency holds etc..... may be worth waiting a day or two: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1554181

    Morning folks,

Could do with some further advice please.

My credit files are looking good now and with 2 cards 1 with good interest rate and 1 with 0% balance transfer for 12 months I am able to close my Vanquis account.

The things is I still have 3 catalogue accounts that have quite high credit limits. I paid these all off a couple of months ago and wrote to them all saying I wished to close the accounts and asking them to inform the credit reference agencies that the accounts were setteled. They all show zero balance but are still showing as satisfactory rather than setteled.....is there anything I can do to get then to change them to settled otherwise my available credit will remain quite high.

    Thanks all;)

Jack, it can take up to 4 weeks for the lender to post an update the the CRA.
If it is the Shop Direct Group you can pay £5 per account to have an immediate CRA file update.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

    Depressed, I'm bloody suicidal!!

1-4 can't believe it, absolutely shocking. Especially Vidic, so unlike him, he has been brilliant this season. Anderson and Carrick were poor as well, but still 4 points clear with a game in hand. I didn't think it was 1-4 game. Don't get me wrong, that mob did deserve to win I think 2-1 would of been better.

P.S Clio, come on Hull. LOL.
