Hi,
I have a Blueyonder 10mb broadband connection and there techie dept are telling me that the speed below reflects that.
To me the download speed is just over 4 1/2mb, where am I going wrong as they have said that on a couple of occasions now.
I was on the 4mb connection before this and it said 4mb when I ran the test then.
From ADSL Guide
Downstream 4307 Kbps (538.4 KB/sec) 4651 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Upstream 362 Kbps (45.3 KB/sec) 390 Kbps (inc. overheads)
Any thoughts?

If your PC is plugged in directly, you might try setting your network card to 10Mbit Full duplex rather than autonegotiate.0

Not as bad as my 28.8 K Modem

Takes me like a minute to load this site!
Stop making your posts too long !!!!!0 -
I have ntl 10mB, CONTINUAL CRASHES!!! and only getting 3-4Mb conections
Played merry hell with NTL who replaced the 120 modem with a 250 - now getting 8-9.5Mb conection as solid as a rock - the firmware version and model of your modem is key, pluss your optimisation settings.
A tip for everyone dont take the service providers SH*T, demand they give you what you have paid for.
(they always back down when you give them hell!!)0
