bobsa1 wrote:Just wondered, if I take back my EI will they just take off the regular points rather than the offer points. I used several offers, 100 points for trevor sorbie (found a reduced item) and 100 points for FCUK(reduced anti dandruff shampoo) and they are all lumped together, so would sa have any way of knowing??This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Hi no EI vouchers in my store today and I tried all the machines that were working 2/7 with 2 cards
the only bonus was I found 2 of the skincare/choccy vouchers on the floor - how lucky was that so got 2 free TD hand creams and 2 boxes of chocolates

haven't a clue what'd be a decent lippie for my mom, giving her age and colouring.
might be worth considering what she wears now (shame you can't swipe it for a day) - although it is possible to get stuck in a make up rut, many women will only wear, at best, several shades away from their fave colour, or at least shades from the same genre (pinks, reds, beige/browns) - you may want to steer clear of the strong lasting stayfast colours - they have their upsides but they are very drying on the lips and you have to virtually panscrub them off
asking a make up assistant is a good idea, and if you are price concious, take their advice but buy from another range....i have seen ppl have an hours consultation and walk away without buying, so don't worry about 5 minutes of advice (although useful to have a reason why you need to return later to buy it)
hope your mum has a good (and glam) day....0 -

Nice one. I never get that much luck.
It was strange as I manged to get the EI voucher on one machine but rather than print it I got the machine to return my card. As wanted to check before I printed it that they had it in stock, reudced and on BOGOF. Went back the same machine and it would not give it to me. So panic set in and I tried another machine and it gave it to me.
Oh one word of warning for anyone using the Bath southgate store. This morning as of about 11.30 this morning there was one AD card machine working and that is one that faces the till. And they have 5. One was not even working. The other next to it was working but was gummed up with vouchers. And one had not working on it and I think I broke the other one as I got a SA to get my card out. Luck it was the card with nothing on it so no great loss. And she then stuck a not in use thing on it.

Had thought that if I try to get help from the reps on the counters, they'll just try to flog me some expensive stuff rather than be impartial.
Mom's one of those who's make-up usually consists of "a bit of lippy" on special occasions! Bless!
If you can get near her make up bag....then you could 'borrow' her lippy for a while and get a similar colour???0 -

My mom's a single widow and suffers from depression, so me and my brothers are always trying to do things to make her feel good about herself. Doesn't always work but worth it when it does!
This make-up things all very complicated! Now I've started the 3 step TD skincare regime, I'm obviously spending longer in the bathroom. How women do all that and then their make-up and then their hair is beyond me!
When I was in Boots last week, I spoke to one "senior"make-up lady about something and was shocked by how much slap she'd got on. She looked like she was about to go on stage in the theatre! Worst possible advert for a make-up counter, I thought.
