    Hi Calley
Yes! Did it myself the other day.

Spent £16 on No 7 product PLUS free gift, £2 on Hair Science and returned goods to the value of £17.

Just had to pay £1 o/s diff. And still received Skincare/Chocs voucher. :)

Boots tills treat a return as a payment towards your total spend rather than netting off your return against your new purchases. So in the example above, I could've then returned my new goods again for something only a few pence more expensive, paid the diff, and the till would have treated it as if I'd again spent over £10 and allowed me another Skincare/chocs voucher.

If you see what I mean! :)

Yes it worked and I got the bag and two lots of skincare vouchers as two different transactions at different tills. But what my husband did not tell me until we where on are way home that he had to pay £3.50 for the goods. I was like why?. The items that he was returning where valued at £16 ish. And the goods he choose where £15 ish.

Turns out the SA and my husband is a bit of dipper and really did not check or query it did not refund one of the items. I know it was only £3.50 to be paid but we had paid £4.99 for the original item. But how do I prove it. Might just have to go the loser on that one.

But got my EI so got 900 points added. And got my chocs for 99p. Spent £6.94 (I know, I know but have skin care coming out of my ears). Got a free TD cleasner thingy. And a couple of flower therapy bathsalt jars. Lovely and only 49p each. So lovely when SA scanned the vouchers. And I saved about £7 :j Mind you even a better bargain as I use a £5 boots voucher so only had to £1.95 cash :j

So all in a good hoard and I still have one skin care choccie voucher left. Have just shared a the box of chocs with husband and I now feel a little sick. :rotfl:

That's mildly annoying to say the least! To clarify, there was a returned item, left at the till, that the SA didn't put thru? I'd be amazed if you could prove this, but as a goodwill gesture, Boots Customer Service may refund the £4.99 if you give them a call. Worth a try I guess.

Of course Calley, this could all be Fate punishing you for sneaking a peek at your hubby's presents in the first place! ;)

Yes, a returned item was not put through the till it is not on the receipt as I checked it when we got home. Husband said he was sure she scanned it. And he claims to have queried it but she said it was £3.50 to pay. But as I have had so much for free or nearly free over the last few weeks. I don't think I will complain to much.

Well yes but I need to make sure he gets me the right thing :rotfl: and I hate surprises.

Most of the goodies in my gift box at the moment are either TD or EA that have been bought for nothing or next to nothing.

    Further help needed!

My mum's in her early 60s, fairly decent caucasian skin, dark brown hair and brown eyes. She needs some new lipstick and I've already dropped massive hints that she'll be getting a bumper goodies hamper for Mother's Day.

I've no embarrassment in going and buying women's products but haven't a clue what'd be a decent lippie for my mom, giving her age and colouring. (Did get her the free No 7 bag, but that seems really geared towards a younger woman.) My mom's got mobility problems, so it's fairly difficult for her to get to the shops on her own, so I'd rather buy her something than just say "here's a fiver!".

    Any suggestions much appreciated. :)

    Dave,

No idea I have enough problems buying makeup for myself let alone another person :rotfl:

Do you have nice size Boots where they have some No7 Girlies, as I reckon they are the best ones to ask. Could you take a photo in and tell them what colours she wears in eyeshadow and mascara that might help as well.

    Otherwise

Just wondered, if I take back my EI will they just take off the regular points rather than the offer points. I used several offers, 100 points for trevor sorbie (found a reduced item) and 100 points for FCUK(reduced anti dandruff shampoo) and they are all lumped together, so would sa have any way of knowing??

Cheers - hadn't thought of using a photo! :) Had thought that if I try to get help from the reps on the counters, they'll just try to flog me some expensive stuff rather than be impartial.

Mom's one of those who's make-up usually consists of "a bit of lippy" on special occasions! Bless! :D

I didn't get to Boots the last couple of days, not been feeling well. Spent time catching up on what to buy when I do get to go there!
Now my son says he's popping in tomorrow to see if I'm ok ................so won't get there tomorrow either :(
I want to see if I get the EI offer. Didn't get it last time round.
Thanks to everyone for all the info collecting and posting on thios topic.

I have a feeling that most lippy in the No7 range is about £8 each. But if they could suggest colours that would suit her, you could always have a look in other ranges like N17, natural collection for a similar colour.

    Just an idea.
