well im on dial up at the moment waiting for a new broadband to be installed, and its taken me 3 and a half hours to read this new boots 6 thread. so now im off to boots to try and make it worth my while, ill let u know later.
it probably would be good for a chat thread and a seperate bargain thread as ive only found the ei offer in 30 or so pages.  :dance:0 -
Want me to start a new thread for Boots discussion only??
I agree the offers are getting lost amongst all the excitement!!
What do u all think??0 -
The other option would be to list all the current bargains on the first post of each new thread. Of course this would mean that the person who starts each new thread would have to update their post as the offers from boots change.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

EI Hand Wash I picked up 10 and the Body Lotion I got 2. I was convinced that it wouldn't work, that Boots might have changed the tills or something. I got £15 worth of points.
12 EI @ 150 points = 1800 points
Sounds like it only gave you points on the EI Handwash (10 @ 150 = 1500 points)
Don't want to patronisebut are the 2 x body lotion definately EI products? If not, take em back!

Lose track of who the Board guides/Mods are on here, but if you could get them to have a Boots Offers-only "Sticky" Thread on Grabbit, and a separate "non-sticky" Boots discussion thread on Grabbit, I'd be terribly grateful!
And if whoever posts in the offers thread keeps it nice and "bare-bones" minimalist with no waffle, that'd be good too.
It would surely help the site too - one of the Boots thread recently had over 100,000 views of a 100-page thread. That must have drained the servers a bit.

I'm just back from Boots, went to AC machine but it would'nt give me ei voucher,as i printed one yesterday, but none in the boots i went to yesterday!
But my aunty got the voucher and got 6 bottles, plus there was a boots lavender gift pack thing,1 body wash,1 body lotion and a scrub i think,it says £2.50,but scanned at £1.37,she went back and got 2 more.
SOooooo no EI for me....boohoooo0 -
Armed with a print out list to remind me
, I had to go to my parents today and afterwards for some unknown reason
the car drove me to Boots  . So I bought:
8 handwash @ £1.66 BOGOF
8 body lotion @ £1.99 BOGOF
2 No 7 Tan Moisturiser @ £9.50 BOGOF (I do use this in the summer)
1 No 7 Lip Shine @ £5.50
1 No 7 Hair Spritz @ £5.50
plus different other things I wanted.
According to receipt I got 2400 offer points (EI) and usng my double points coupon got an extra 220 points - so it didn't double the whole shop *sighs*.
Did get ...............................................two No 7 bags thougheven though the No 7 Summer goodies are on BOGOF the till allowed me two bags.........................................:j . Shall give one of them to my neice for her birthday in March
.
Receipts says I saved £41.27. I also handed in a voucher giving me £2 off a No 7 nail varnish - which I bought - and another voucher giving me 20% discount on Boots own range of toiletries but just noticed it didn't deduct the £2 or give me the discountl!!! Naughty Boots!
EDIT
The EI goodies did not have BOGOF displayed anywhere. So I took one to till and asked if they were BOGOF - just so I didn't look stupid with a load of them and then had to hand them back0 -
