Shallowpockets, do you still have your voucher from yesterday? I stupidly printed one yesterday but didn't use it, but it was accepted today! I only bought 2 hand washes though, wish I'd bought more but I was sure it wouldn't work!Addicted to moneysaving! :rotfl:0

Got my Boots fix this morning! Was waiting for the doors to open at 8.30am went straight to the advantage machine and put my daughters card in first (shes only just received it and has a double points voucher) but no EI voucher (had hoped for one on her account so i could get double points). Put my card in and i got the voucher. Then i had to find the stuff. Came across it on the reduced section at £1.99 for the handwash instead of £3.99 and £1.49 for the bodywash instead of £2.99. I wsa a bit nervous about getting quite a bit in case it didnt work but knowing what others have said about only getting the voucher once i knew i needed to get a few. I put 6 bottles in my basket and and had a couple of little bits in there already which should have took me just over £10 so i could get the choccys for 99p and the £5 skin voucher. She started putting it through the till and it came up with an offer and it was bogof. So went back to the shelf and got another 6. Outcome was 12 bottles of EI range reduced crunchie 22p and 2 x reduced crisps 18p for £10.50. Then got my chocs for 99p instead of £3.49. I earnt £18.52 in points and have also got my £5 voucher yet to spend.
Just worked out i actually got £43.65 worth of goods which they have paid me £7.03 to take away and a free £5 voucher. Cant be bad!!!0 -

Not for me! I got an EI voucher yesterday, but the SAs couldn't find the products (they tried to tell it applied to everything in the everyday range). Today I went in, found the range myseld, but it wasn't on BOGOF0 -

I'm ashamed to admit that up until a few weeks ago when I discovered this thread I hardly used to bother with my Advantage Card.Blasphemy! <covers ears>
HOWEVER - if someone took it from me now I think I might need medication! This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
mrsw have you tried buying a couple to see if it goes through at bogof? In my store it is not signed up as bogof but it goes though the tills as that. Maybe worth a try if you havent already.0

If you get an item price checked at a till, they'll be able to tell you if there are any multibuys with it - they did this morning with me when I got different EI things priced.
I found the range (eventually!) on an end-aisle promotional shelf, not with the other washing items as it says on the voucher and where I'd have expected to find it.0 -
I don't know why but i never get any of the vouchers for these good offers! I didn't get the pure moisture one that was on a few weeks ago either. i've had my ad card for years, didn't use it that much, so when it stopped working about a year ago didn't bother replacing it till abt 4 months ago, but i think it is still the same a/c . I've now started shopping at boots loads since i began reading this boots thread a couple of months ago, but still i don't seem to get any! The only thing it offered me 2day apart from the usual half price eye test, points for hol insurance etc, was 100points with any Mark hill product, but this is a pretty expensive range which i don't buy anyway.
Any tips on how i should be using my account so that i'll get all these fab offers?

just had an eventful time in my local boots. printed AC voucher for 150pts on EI. asked SA to show me where the range was, picked up several bath and shower products on BOGOF. went to till all scanned ok produced my AC voucher and it would not go thru, the SA had mistakenly directed me to the WRONG products, i was soooo embarrassed. _pale_ had a queue behind me. asked if they could be voided off as i now did not want items very kind young SA tried but the till was playing up, supervisor and manager had to be called. then supervisor brought 2items and told me that THIS was the EI range, did not dare say that i would like to buy more than 2. so in the end after an hour in boots i have now purchased 2 EI items on BOGOF £1.99 each so paid £1.99 for the two and 300pts went on my card.
tried machine on way out but would not give me another AC voucher. what an eventful lunch hour. :j feel stressed out now will need long Indulging soak in the bath tonight, good job i got some calming lavendar and lilac bodysoak
